Such good advice, and you're right. There's something about knowing that your mom thinks you're perfect, even though we all know that no one truly is (and how ANNOYING they would be if they were...), that helps buoy one along. It helped me to know that my mom was always on my side, always had my back, no matter what. That perfectionist thing is hard. Really hard. We learn so much from our mistakes, so being unwilling to make them can really limit growth. SO hard to get past, though. I have a bit of it, as does Maya...not a ton, but enough. Frustrating. The adult teeth are in...shark teeth is what our dentist called them and said she's just fine and they will fall out when they want to.
